Lazare Kaplan International  has become the latest diamond company to achieve certification from the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), which acknowledged that  the New York-based firm has met the ethical, human rights, social and environmental standards established by the RJC's Member Certification System.

Lazare Kaplan’s certification was granted after it passed a verification assessment carried out by by Vidhi Aggarwal from SGS, which is an independent third-party auditing firm accredited to the RJC's Member Certification System.
