Dear Colleague:

The Diamond Dealers Club was founded in 1931. It consists of about 2,000 members, including manufacturers, dealers, brokers and rough diamond merchants. The membership comprises a who's who of the American diamond trade, with members from every corner of the United State, as well as from Israel, Belgium, Australia and the Far East.

The Club offers a safe, secure environment where business may be transacted in the knowledge that protection is ensured by a uniform code of laws and select membership.

Admission procedures are extremely stringent, and Club membership is eagerly sought after and proudly displayed. Comfort, convenience and security, as well as the prestige of an elite organization, are the hallmarks of the body.

The DDC is also a magnet drawing buyers from all over the world, who come to take advantage of the large selection of many different kinds of goods from many manufacturers. New York is a buyer's market where the buyer is courted, and every effort is made to satisfy his or her needs. The buyer has an opportunity to fill particular diamond needs without having to purchase quantities of goods which do not meet exact requirements. Picking from parcels is a negotiable practice rather than the exception, and the overseas buyer can expect to go home with the exact mix of goods required, rather than a mélange dictated by the manufacturer.

The superior quality of the cut of diamonds manufactured in New York, particularly the finer grades, is well recognized. Additionally, there is the substantial advantage of buying goods accompanied by a certificate from a recognized leader in diamond grading. The buyer can choose those stones meeting particular standards of color and clarity without having to overcome the seller's more optimistic grading.

Another important resource available at the DDC is comprised of the brokers, who make the DDC an extremely efficient market. Buyers who come to the Club can expect to utilize the sources of many brokers, who will search their network of suppliers and manufacturers to find the right stone at the right price. Doing business in the Club provides a neutral ground where the buyer can feel comfortable by conducting business on his or her terms.

Furthermore, the New York diamond community and the DDC offer all these advantages at a highly competitive price level. The combination of an efficient market, competitive sellers and superior cut have resulted in prices which are very advantageous and reasonable.

Rarely will buyers leave saying they bought the wrong goods at too high a price. Our goal is to make them eager to come back. We offer a source which provides a competitive edge, all of which translates directly into increased profits.

Come and take advantage of what we offer.
